Peaceful, Secluded & Timeless: Meg & Bradley’s Hidden Springs Wedding

Looking back on their wedding day, three words stood out to them: peaceful, secluded, and stress-free. And after seeing how their day came together, we think those words describe it perfectly.
Their wedding was a beautiful example of how much a venue can transform with the right combination of planning, rentals, florals, and thoughtful design. With Ramblewood Events leading the planning and floral design and an incredible team of vendors bringing each piece together, the barn became a chic, timeless reception space that felt entirely their own.
Choosing Hidden Springs
For Meg and Bradley, Hidden Springs had a little bit of everything they were looking for.
They described the property as feeling familiar while still offering something special. They loved the blend of indoor and outdoor spaces, the elevated atmosphere that wasn't too fancy, and the comfortable, relaxed feeling throughout the property.
One of their favorite parts was being able to stay in the cabins the night before their wedding. Having their people nearby and having the space to spread out made the wedding weekend feel less like a single event and more like time spent together.
They also appreciated how much property there is at Hidden Springs. Instead of feeling like everyone was gathered into one small area, there was room to move between the cabins, lake, outdoor spaces, and barn throughout the weekend.
That sense of space became an important part of their wedding day, too.
A Quiet First Look by the Water
One of Meg and Bradley's favorite moments happened before the ceremony.
They chose to have their first look by the water, creating a private moment away from the rest of the wedding day. With the lake and surrounding property as the backdrop, it was a simple setting that gave them a chance to slow down and spend a few minutes together before everything got underway.
It was one of those moments that made the most of what they loved about Hidden Springs in the first place: the feeling of having plenty of space and privacy while still being close to everything they needed.
From there, the day moved naturally between the outdoor spaces and the barn, giving them plenty of opportunities to enjoy the property throughout the celebration.
From Getting Ready to the Ceremony
Meg and Bradley also loved how conveniently everything at Hidden Springs is laid out.
They specifically mentioned how close the getting-ready areas are to the ceremony space, which made moving through the morning and into the ceremony easy and seamless.
For a wedding day with plenty happening at once, those little logistical details can make a big difference. Being able to get ready, have a private first look, and make your way to the ceremony without long drives or complicated transitions helps keep the day moving while allowing everyone to stay present.
And when the ceremony was over, the celebration continued outside.
An Outdoor Celebration Before the Reception
The outdoor patio became another favorite part of Meg and Bradley's wedding day.
After the ceremony, guests could enjoy the property and spend time together outdoors before heading into the reception. It gave the day a relaxed transition between the ceremony and dinner, while also allowing guests to experience more of the property.
And then there was the golf cart!
Meg and Bradley chose to use one of our golf carts as their getaway car, creating a fun and distinctly Hidden Springs way to end their celebration.
It was a small detail, but one that fit their day perfectly: relaxed, personal, and not overly formal.
Transforming the Barn
One of the most exciting parts of Meg and Bradley's wedding was seeing how their vendor team transformed the reception barn.
Hidden Springs' barn gives couples a versatile starting point, but Meg and Bradley's team took the space and completely made it their own.
With planning and florals by Ramblewood Events, rentals from Mad Honey Rentals, draping by Decor 1601, and tabletop pieces from The Copper Quail and Showtime Event Rentals, the barn came together as a chic and timeless reception space.
The finished design showed just how much impact outside rentals and decor can have when they are thoughtfully planned together.
Rather than trying to completely change the character of the barn, their team layered in elegant details that elevated the space while allowing it to still feel like Hidden Springs. The draping added softness and dimension, the rentals helped define each area, and the florals brought everything together.
It was a beautiful example of what can happen when a couple has a clear vision and a vendor team that knows how to execute it.
A Vendor Team That Brought the Vision Together
Meg and Bradley had an incredible group of vendors working behind the scenes to bring their wedding day together.
Their photographer and videographer, Caressa Rogers and Thaley Media, documented the day from the quiet moments by the lake to the reception inside the transformed barn.
For beauty, Locks by Lodell handled hair, while Brides by Brooke created Meg's makeup look. Meg found her dress through Ever After Bridal.
R Table Catering provided the catering, while Somersault Strings and Adam Stone Music brought the music to the celebration.
For dessert, Cookies by Artsy Lindsay and The Milky Cow Co. added their own sweet touches.
And a huge part of the overall design came from Ramblewood Events, who handled both planning and florals. Meg specifically called out Ramblewood when reflecting on her vendor experience, sharing that having a full-service planner, paired with a venue that was easy to work with, was worth every penny.
That kind of collaboration is something we love seeing at Hidden Springs. When the planning team, venue, rental companies, florist, caterer, and creative vendors are all working toward the same vision, the result can be so much more cohesive.
A Wedding Day That Felt Stress-Free
When Meg and Bradley looked back on their experience with Hidden Springs, they described the entire process as wonderful, smooth, and easy.
And on the wedding day itself, that ease was reflected in the way they were able to enjoy the celebration.
Their favorite moments weren't necessarily complicated or elaborate. They loved their private first look by the water, spending time on the outdoor patio, and riding away together in the golf cart at the end of the night.
Those details say a lot about the kind of wedding they created.
It was elevated and thoughtfully designed, but it never felt like the design was more important than the experience.
